Challenge
National Take Your Kid to Work Day provides an opportunity to engage and inspire young minds by introducing them to the workplace. Rocket Companies wanted to refresh the event’s branding while maintaining alignment with its core brand identity. The goal was to create a playful, engaging visual system that resonated with children while remaining professional and cohesive within the company’s established brand.

Solution
To achieve this, I leveraged Rocket’s brand assets and color palette, infusing them with a more youthful and dynamic aesthetic. Geometric shapes were incorporated to complement the letterforms of Rocket Sans and the signature "O" mark, subtly reinforcing the brand’s philosophy of simplifying the complex. Wobbly typography and off-kilter shapes added energy and movement, ensuring the collateral felt fresh, engaging, and appropriate for a younger audience.
Outcome
The refreshed visual identity successfully balanced brand consistency with a playful twist, making the event feel both exciting and on-brand. The updated materials enhanced the overall experience for both children and parents, fostering curiosity and engagement while showcasing the diverse career opportunities within Rocket Companies.
